Wanda was such an amazing person that we will always cherish. She was always so kind and caring. I miss the chats that we would have out in the street. Wanda could always make me smile with her quick wit and funny stories. I loved her passion for her family, cooking and gardening. We feel so lucky to have had her in our lives. She meant a lot to our family and the cul-de-sac and will forever be missed.

Wanda had a special way of making us feel like family. She was like a bonus grandma to my son always sneaking him cookies and treats from the kitchen window. Her random calls about raccoon activity and the time she thought I’d know what to do with a dying skunk in the yard will forever make me smile. Wanda told it like it is, a quality I loved her for. Even when it was about my personal life, nothing got past Wanda in her kitchen window. Grateful to have nearly 20yrs of memories, friendship and a neighbour everyone would be lucky to have had. She is and will be incredibly missed.

Q: What will you miss most about Wanda?
A: Wanda had a beguiling smile and an infectious laugh. I will always hear her voice and laughter when thoughts of her come to mind. It was an honour to have Wanda as a Sister-in-law. Such a caring and compassionate soul. RIP Wanda

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Wanda?
A: I will miss Wanda. She was a wonderful sister, Grandmother, Auntie and friend. Our families were very close and as children we played together, attended school together, grew up together and remained life long friends. A very strong bond all these years. Wanda shared her baking every Christmas always had a gift of her knitting and above all a warm hug and smiles. Gone too soon she will live on in her grandchildren, daughter in law and sons hearts. Gone too soon.
