Obituary of Barbara Lynn Birch

Barbara Lynn Birch born May 25, 1948, passed away peacefully on her 77th birthday after a short illness. Barbi as she was known to her many family members and friends grew up in West Vancouver before moving to Maple Ridge with her young family in 1968.

She worked for many years at Wardens Pharmasave and  the Maple Ridge Credit Union. She was always willing to give her time to organizations she enjoyed, but never wanting the spotlight. Barb was the treasurer for the Maple Ridge Bowling Counsel for many years and more recently held the same position at the Ruskin Hall.

Barb is predeceased by her spouse Dwight Schneider(2024) and her son Tyler(2009). Survived by her sister Mary(Al), brother Frank, children Kim(Lou), Rob(Jan) and step daughter Laura, grandchildren Brie, Blaine, Liam, Jon, Lyndsay and Jas, great grandchildren  Audrey, Edith, Cedar, Maeve and Westley and  so many dear friends who were part of her family.

Barb was a doting mother and the kindest person to ever meet. She was loved very much by anyone who met her and she will be greatly missed.
