Obituary of Sheamus Slevin

July 25, 1938 – June 1, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sheamus Slevin, who died peacefully on June 1, 2025, at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in County Fermanagh, Ireland, Sheamus and wife Bernadette immigrated to Canada in 1964.

Married for 63 years, theirs was a union marked by love, resilience, and unwavering devotion.

A dedicated nurse and respected leader at Riverview Hospital, Sheamus was known for his integrity, wisdom, and quiet strength.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and he leaves behind a legacy of compassion, hard work, and principled living.

Sheamus is survived by his wife Bernadette, sons Paul(Kim), Terry(Darlene) , and John(Shirley) grandchildren Ryan(Casey) and Kelsey Niece Angela(Dave), nephew Tony(Margot), Nieces Mary(Kenny), Rosie(Ken), Nephew Paul(Bernadette) and many other family members

A very special heartfelt thank-you goes to the care-workers who dedicated their time, love and expertise. They became family, providing grace, dignity and comfort.
