Obituary of Diana Sproat

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Sproat (née Parry) of Pitt Meadows, who went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 12, 2025.
Diana was the beloved wife of the late Dave Sproat and loving mother to her twins, Helen (Glen) Carelse and David Blasby, and her daughter, Sylvia (Wade) Barrett.
She is also cherished by her grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Ian), Elizabeth, Dylan, Elise, Aiden, Madison, and Anuva. Diana will be deeply missed for her bright smile, encouraging words, heartfelt hugs, steadfast faith, and joyful singing voice. The family is grateful to the staff and volunteers at McKenney Creek Hospice for all of their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in her memory. A celebration of Diana’s life will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Maple Ridge Alliance Church, 20399 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge, BC.
