Obituary of Lorna Anne Wong

Lorna Wong (née Irvine)

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Lorna Wong on October 29, 2025, in Maple Ridge, BC. Born on March 12, 1956, in Edmonton, Alberta, Lorna brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to everyone who knew her.

Lorna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob Wong, and her brother Tom Irvine. She leaves behind her children Mike and Lisa (Kevin), her adored granddaughter Elliott, her sister Lynn, and her brother Bill. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, who loved their Auntie Lorna dearly, as well as her dear brothers- and sisters-in-law, who were an important part of her life.

Lorna had a generous heart and a wonderful sense of humour that could brighten any room. She loved spending time with family and friends, whether sharing stories over coffee or exploring new places on her travels. Some of her happiest adventures were with her dear travelling companions, Lynda and her sister-in-law Dana, creating memories full of laughter and joy.

Above all, Lorna cherished being Elliott’s Granny. She embraced that role with boundless love, pride, and delight - it was truly one of the greatest joys of her life.

A service to celebrate Lorna’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Garden Hill Funeral Home.
