Michael (Mike) James Salo, age 70, of Maple Ridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday

evening, January 24, 2026, with his loving children by his side.

He is predeceased by his siblings Cindy (2025) and Danny (2021).

Survived by his sister, Bonnie; children, Michael (Angela), Shelly (Jim), Nathan (Sara); and

grandchildren Aaron, Ryan, Daniel, Austin, Courtnae, Allysha, Emily, Destiny, and Connor.

Mike's family meant everything to him. He was a good man, full of knowledge, and always quick

with a joke or a wise-crack. He consistently looked for the best in people, but above all, he was

the best father ever-truly one of a kind. Throughout his long battle with his health, he remained

grateful, thanking God for his many blessings.

A devoted father and grandfather, Mike deeply loved his family, his grandchildren, and his

friends, always wanting the very best for them.

His passing is a profound loss for his family, friends, and business associates. Taken from us

far too soon, Mike will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
