It is with great sadness that the family of Lorrie Ann Nikula announce her passing on February 23, 2026 in New Westminster, BC. Lorrie was born in Calgary, AB, on March 17, 1958.

Predeceased by Parents Albert and Alice Young, Brother Ralph Young and Nephew Nicholas Salisbury.

Survived by Husband Dennis Nikula, Daughters Alysha (Alfred) Knox, Melissa Nikula, and Son Ethan Nikula, Siblings and her nieces and nephews.

Lorrie lived life on her own terms, with strength, independence, and unwavering conviction. She cared deeply for others, a compassion that shone through in both her personal life and her work. If you needed her, she was there, steady, dependable, and fiercely loyal. Above all, she was a loving wife and devoted mother with a generous heart that touched everyone who knew her.

The Celebration of Life for Lorrie Nikula will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 - 224th Street, Maple Ridge.
