December 31, 1925 - April 26, 2026

Emily “Kuffy” Ceaser (nee Kuffner) passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Madison Care Centre in Coquitlam. Emily is survived by her children, Brenda, Patrick and James; her grandchildren, Heather, Sasha, Amanda, Kathryn, Matthew and Joshua; and her great-grandchildren Madilyn, Colleen, Thomas, Arianna, Samuel, and James. 

She was predeceased by her husband John in 2010 and her daughter Colleen in 1992. Emily will be fondly remembered for her warmth and generosity; for her love of quilting and painting; and for her ability to make everyone feel like a welcome friend. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Madison Care Centre for their gentle and respectful care. Donations to the B.C. Alzheimer’s Society will be gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers.

Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 30th at 7:00pm at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Friday, May 1st, also at St. Luke's Parish.
