It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Adam James Kline, 43, of Maple Ridge, B.C. He passed away with his family surrounding him on June 15th 2026. 

Adam was born on December 15th 1982 to Leslie Derhak and Jeff Kline in Vancouver B.C. Adam graduated from Princess Margaret in Surrey B.C in 2000, he went on to get his Millright Certification. 

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Leah and a proud and loving father, a trusted mentor, and a loyal friend to many. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate to know him. He had a lifelong passion for music, and nothing brought him more joy than sitting behind him drumset. Some of his happiest moments were spent paddle boarding with his wife Leah, creating memories with his family, sharing laughter with those he loved. He had an incredible sense of humor that could brighten any room, and his infectious laugh and quick wit will be remembered always. 

Though his life was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will continue to live on. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Adam was predeceased by his father-Jeff Kline. His grandparents Garry Raymond Derhak, Carol Deanne Derhak, Edward James Kline and Patricia Kathleen Ethridge. He is survived by his mother Leslie Derhak, his dad Al Losse, his brothers Matt Kline and Josh Kline, his wife Leah Kline, his children- Nathan, Isabelle and Jordan. 

Services will be held at the Maple Ridge Legion- 12101 224th St. Maple Ridge B.C on July 18th, 2026 at 2pm PST.
