Dad left us to be reunited with mom (Francis ) who predeceased him in 2018.

A man of faith, his favourite bible verse was John 3:16, dad is now living his “ everlasting life”.

Any conversation with dad meant an instant connection , often leading to a deep friendship. He always had a smile ,carried a gentle sense of humour, and was always willing to lend a hand . He loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays and even in his final days , would ask “did the Jays win?”

Predeceased by his sisters : Grace (Rognan) 2016 and Marsha (McKay )2020

Survived by : Sons Kevin (Colleen) Steven (Judy) and daughter Allison Vos (Jerry )

Sister’s Cathie (George) Dick , Ruth Wright, Brother Harry ( Shirley ) Wright , sister in-law Margaret Finlay & brother in-law Gunnar Rognan.

A special place in dads heart was reserved for his grandchildren: Brad (Chelsea ) Jessica (Matthew ) , Evelyn , Jeremy , Laura, Kaylee, Megan and great grandchildren Elena , Elijah Milo & Max.

The family express our huge gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at McKenney Creek Hospice (Maple Ridge) where donations would be greatly appreciated.

Service will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 at 12:30pm at Ridge Church, 22155 Lougheed Highway, Maple Ridge.
