It is with deep sadness that the family of Audrey Swain (Anderson) announces her passing on August 18. Audrey was born in Maple Ridge on November 24, 1934, and remained a lifelong resident of the community she loved. Se was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth.

Audrey leaves behind her four children, Colleen (Wade), Brian (Iris), Gord (Yoko), and Anita; her grandchildren, Jessica, Sandra, Samantha, and Skyler; seven great-grandchildren, all of whom will fondly remember her as "Granny"; and her dear sister, Margaret Fuller.

Throughout her life in Maple Ridge, Audrey and Ken built a strong presence across several local businesses. Though she was not one to want accolades or credit, Audrey quietly gave her time and energy to causes close to her heart, including her dedicated and generous financial support to many non profits. She enjoyed her time as a volunteer at the Maple Ridge Museum. Always active, she loved walking, biking and even went to the BC seniors games for fencing.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private ceremony will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
