October 8, 1949 – May 17, 2013
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Al, with his family by his side, on Friday, May 17, 2013 after a brief battle with a sudden illness. He will be forever missed by his wife of 38 years, Anne, his son, Russell and daughter-in-law, Taryn, as well as all of his extended family and dear friends both in British Columbia and Ontario. Special thanks to all of the doctors and staff at Royal Columbian Hospital who provided such compassionate care to Al and our family. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Church, 1460 Lansdowne Drive (at David), Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Al’s name to the War Amps of Canada.
