Very Sad to here today ,—it’s not often we meet a developer with the integrity David had. I met him over a Co-Housing ideas ,out at spirit bay.
Very impressed with David

Norma
Gene and I always looked forward to picking up David for our Saturday morning breakfasts and residential architectural tours. Driving over to Shoal Point we’d catch up with each others’ weeks and chatted about this and that. David would get in the back seat and off the three of us would go with the primary subject being where shall we breakfast today though invariably within moments one of us would say something that would trigger the three of us to laugh like young boys. It was David’s presence that allowed us all to feel such joy. We loved him.

Dear Norma and Family,
Erik and I are stunned and saddened to hear of David’s passing. He was a wonderful person of ethics, integrity, vision and conscientiousness, seeking to make a sustainable and beautiful living environment in all his projects. He was an employer who cared for the people he worked with, and it was a wonderful experience to know and work for him . I will never forget his kindness to me when my mother was passing, enabling me to be by her side, and generously covering my airfare. I know he was a devoted husband and father and that his loss will be deeply felt, but may you be comforted in the life he lived and the memories you shared. His memory will be a blessing to all who knew him.

To Norma and Family:
I am very sorry to hear the news of Davids passing.
He was an inspiration for me and many others. The last time I talked with David was a few years ago on Dallas Road, bumping into him. I remember how close he engaged the conversation, shook hands, and off he went to catch up with Norma he said.
Thanks David, you willbe missed, Chuck Farrar

Norma and Family:
My deepest sympathies to all in your loss of David. Although many years have passed since working in the same office, I always enjoyed reading about David’s latest achievements and his vision for what others considered impossible.
May you find peace in the memories you will forever have.

Dearest Norma and Family, what a shock! Pam and I were totally in disbelief when we heard of David’s passing. The last time I met him he was so full of life and so enthusiastic about your latest project at Spirit Bay. He definitely was one of a kind and left his mark wherever he went. K now that we are thinking of you at this most difficult time. Please accept our most sincere condolences.
