The PEDRAZA family would like to announce the passing of Alvaro Pedraza, 75, at McKenney Creek Hospice, in Maple Ridge this past May 4th, 2019.
Alvaro was a model husband, dad, grandfather, father in law. He was born in Santander, Colombia, the youngest of three brothers. He was a talented jeweller, his profession for 52 years.
He is survived by his wife Lupe and his six children: Alvaro Jr., Freddy, Sandra, Jaqueline, Jennifer and, Stephanie. He was also loved by his daughter in law, Ines and sons in law Omar, Marcello, Seth and Vic.
Alvaro had a witty sense of humour and loved teasing everyone. He will be sorely missed.
A cremation, in a private family ceremony, will take place on Wednesday, May 8, at Bakerview Crematorium at 34863 Cemetery Ave., Mission, BC.
A celebration of Alvaro’s life will be announced at a later date.
