Uncle Paul was similar in a lot of ways to all my very innovative Jacobs Uncles, but for me he also stood out as being positively unique. Uncle Paul always made me smile and demonstrated in many ways he genuinely cared about me. I remember the time our family holidayed at the resort. Uncle Paul immediately noticed (I, being a young teenager at the time), my boredom. He cured my boredom by putting me to work in a ticket booth selling tickets to people who were wanting to stay at the resort. I had a great time! I was really impressed by Uncle Paul in the fact he trusted me with all that money no questions asked, this meant so much to me. His trust of me really showed me the kind of person he was. I found Uncle Paul to be loving, caring, kind, patient and above all compassionate and understanding. His trust of me extended to a small engine he was fixing. Uncle Paul, noticing my interest in the engine let me work on it for him. I remember fixing the engine which I’m sure almost bored Brian to death, but I was in my element. I share many other fun moments with Uncle Paul on that holiday. That holiday has been one of the most memorable experiences in my life.
Uncle Paul was a remarkable man and I cherish the many other times we all got together.
He was a great uncle.
I will never forget him, may God rest his soul!

Dear Vera and family,
I will be forever grateful that I was blessed with meeting both you and Paul. He was a man of substance and integrity and gave selflessly from his heart. For me, talking to him gave me such hope and a deep feeling of love. May God continue to bless Paul and the people he has touched.

Hi Brian and family – So many fond memories of Uncle Paul during our childhood years. He was always a favorite of mine and so respected by my Dad & Mom – his brother Emil & Ollie.
His shocking white, full head of hair remindes me so much of my own Dad who as you know passed away in 2001.
Rest in peace Uncle Paul – you and your parents and siblings are all together once again.

Hi Vera, Brian and Family
Uncle Paul will be remembered by me and I am sure by the rest of the family as a fun loving person, who always could make a joke, to make one laugh in the face of adversity. I am very pleased to have had him as an Uncle, worked with him and to have been able to spend an afternoon with him, recently, chewing over our history, good times and a few bad.
Rest in peace Uncle Paul.
Best regards
Ted Jacobs
