Dale passed away peacefully on March 22, 2013, at Ridge Meadows Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Dale is survived by his wife Karen Johnston; daughters Kim Vandyck (Maurice), Mandy MacLean (Tyson) and Amy Hooker (Nathan); along with his three grandchildren, Mason, Sebastien, and Colton. He is also survived by his father Bob (Robert); mother Shirley; brothers Jaime (Terri), Gord , Wayne, and Keith; sisters Lynda Drysbourgh (Bill) and Geraldine (Morey); as well as all the nieces and nephews, and many friends.
