September 3, 1935 – March 23, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Segaric – lovingly known as ‘Bobby’ to her family. Joan is survived by her husband, Stanko, sons Tony (Cheryl) and Peter (Laurel), her daughter Helene, and grandchildren, Craig (Christine), Stephanie, Mark, Devon, Matthew, Leanne and Lucas. Joan was born and raised in Vancouver. In the mid-5o’s she worked as a caregiver in Kamloops where she met and later married her husband Stan who was the love of her life. Joan very much enjoyed family and social gatherings. She loved animals and music. Her favorite hobbies included reading, knitting and arts and crafts. We would like to thank all the care providers at Maple Ridge Seniors Village for the love and personalized attention you gave. You all had a special place in Joan’s heart.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2012 at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC.
