It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amy Jacobson (McQueen) on May 7, 2018 at the age of 93. Amy was born in Gibsons Landing, B.C. on April 28, 1925. Predeceased by her parents John and Ethel McQueen, her sisters Joan Newsham, Jean Day and Mary Mottl. Survived by Ron, her loving husband of 72 years , her children Wilf(Darcy), Darlene(Steve), Ken(Sandy) and Ron(Kari). Grandchildren Chris, Trisha, Jim(Silise), Tracey(Josh), Lisa(Cole), Mike(Coralee), Ross(Laira), Kyle(Charlotte), Tia(Ryan), Denae(Sam), Levi and Brielle. Also Great Grandchildren Savanah, Joey, Kaydence, Leslie, Donovan, Kate, Keenan, Bree, Stella, Zoe, Iris, Arrea, Kealan, Parker, Marlesa, Myles, Irelynne, Summer and Mitchell.
Amy dearly loved her family, nieces, nephews, friends and all the places she called home: Gibsons, Richmond, Point Roberts, Kelowna, Arizona and last of all at Waterford in Tsawwassen. Mom was dearly loved by all of us and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 10th, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Beach Grove Golf Course, 5946 – 12th Avenue, Tsawwassen, B.C.
