Marlene and family, Don and I are saddened to hear of Jack’s passing. Don has been recalling his memories of Jack in his baseball days and visiting at the Wilde home over the years. So many years- so many memories – God bless you as you mourn “a good guy” with an infectious smile.

My condolences to Marlene and family- my thoughts are with you.
The world has lost one of the really good guys.
I feel very lucky to have been a friend of Jack’s, and shared so many good times, back in our ball playing days. The old Andres Ball Club had its share of characters and Cactus Jack was a member in good standing. The laughs were plentiful, the parties were legend, and it was not unheard of for Jack to break into a tune or two- often involving a Johnnie Ray impression.
I loved Jack’s love of life, his competitive spirit and his infectious smile – he was fun to be around.
God Bless You, Cactus Jack

My condolences to Marlene and family on your loss. I met Jack 15 years ago through the Snooker Club and he was well thought of by all of our members as well as the players throughout league. He always expressed his love for his wife and family through his actions. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, was a great competitor, good sport and will be sadly missed by us all.
