Kris and I are so sad that Scott has passed away. I worked with Scott at Westview Secondary and we became friends during that time. He was a hard worker with high expectations and he earned my respect and friendship. While we worked hard, we also had a lot of fun together as a team. Our hearts go out to Scott’s family. Please know that those who knew Scott will remember him fondly and he will be missed by all of us. To Laurie, I’ll help you through this in any way I can.

I met Scott while he was working at my children’s schools in Pitt Meadows some years back and we would miss him if he had to be tranferred to work at another school. He was such a kind, gentle man who had such a great smile. I know he will be very missed by his family and friends – my heartfelt sympathies to you all.

I am so saddened to hear about Scott’s passing. Scott was a custodian at Westview Secondary School where I was Principal for several years. He and I talked and shared stories almost everyday, even if just for a few minutes. I consider it an honour to have worked with him. He had a great work ethic and could always be counted on to lend a hand. It did not take long for me to consider Scott a friend. He was loyal, a “straight shooter” whom I got on with right away. To Laurie and the rest of Scott’s family, know that you are in my thoughts. Scott, you will not be forgotten.

Sending my love and support to all of you for your sudden loss. For me Scott will spark memories of Playing hide and seek in your basement. Though many years have past since those days the peels of laughter still bubble up in my mind. Thank you for the gift of great memories Scott. You will be remembered with love.
Your cousin,
Katherine

We were shocked and so very saddened to hear of Scott’s sudden passing. How glad I am that we had the opportunity to re-connect at the McDonald reunion in 2008; he was just as much fun and as prone to tease me as ever. I will treasure that fond memory. I am comforted to know he was met by Richard, my Dad, Lloyd, Nana Jean and Grampa Willard and imagine their reunion is just as joyful.
Much love to you all as you traverse this sorrowful road; our hearts are heavy and with you. xoxo
and special love to you Auntie Ann & Uncle Art. MJ

Shirley and I both know the heartbreak you are all going through at this time and we are so saddened with the passing of Scott. I believe Scott and my young Ron were likely about the same age (1957) and of course I miss him still and always will. There will of course be many family members ready to welcome Scott home and I’m sure that reunion has already begun. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Lovingly, Sheila and Shirley
