Obituary of Darren Michael Wells

July 16, 1965 – August 18, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darren Michael Wells. He passed away peacefully with family surrounding him at his bedside. As he became a “Child of God” at a very young age, he is with his Saviour now and has reunited with loved ones including his father, Ronald. Darren will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his loving wife of 25 years Arlene, daughter Stephanie (Matty), mother Wendy, siblings Coral-Lea (Tavis), Sheree (Dave), Stephen (Pam), uncle Mike (Candy), cousins, nieces, nephews, mother-in-law Agnes, sisters-in-law Jeannetta, Hilda (Greg) and his childhood best friend Roger. We wish to thank all of the wonderful staff at Baillie House for taking such great care of Darren over the years. We would also like to thank Dr. Larry Lim for his continued devotion by making home visits and making sure he saw him before he passed away. As Darren was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 21, some of his organs were donated to UBC to further medical research. After his diagnosis, his faith in God remained steadfast and we take comfort in knowing that he is in heaven.
