5eptember 27,1913 – March 8, 2011 George passed away peacefully with loving wife Michelle at his side. Predeceased by Odette; wife of 60 years. George is survived and will be greatly missed by sons Clifford (Judith) & Terry (Elaine) & grandchildren: Kelly, Terry (Kathy), Sandra (Brian), Casey & Lindsey as well as many great grand children. Predeceased by brother John: sisters Mary (Stan) Conners & Dora Harrison. George is survived by siblings: Alice Helter, Betty Chidwick, Charlie Donovan, & extended family: Evi Donovan & Al Harrison. Special thanks to Rachel Bigata, Coca Pavel, Luke Plesa, Roger(Eliane) & Thierry Laroche, Linda McMillan, and Dr Hatlelid. George accepted Christ as his Lord & Savior & received baptism at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church. A representative of the Gideon Society will be accepting donations on behalf of the Donovan Family. Always ready with a smile and song, George will be dearly missed by his family, many nephews, nieces & friends. Interment to be held at Ocean View Memorial Park. Memorial service Sat. March 19th, 2011 (11 am) at Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Hwy.
