Obituary of Walter Edward Brophy

Walter Edward Brophy or better known as Wally or Papa passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer on October 10th 2012, at the McKenney Creek Hospice, Wally was 57 years old at the time of his death.
Wally was born in Saskatchewan Canada on October 26th 1954.
His love for the theater brought him to BC, where he met his wife Ann and kids Ashley and Patty.
Survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Ann Macphail.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Patty, his son-in-law Jeremy, his 3 granddaughters Jessica, Mackenzie and Sophia, his 2 brothers Bob and Don, his parents, and many extended family members.
Funeral Mass
The Funeral Mass will be at the St Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge, on Wednesday, October 17th at 11am. He will be interred at Maple Ridge Cemetery, 21404 Dewdney Trunk Road on Tuesday October 23rd at 11 am, followed by the celebration of life which will be held at 18975 Ford Rd, Pitt Meadows.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations made to the McKenney Creek Hospice, c/o Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation, in Wally’s Name, for their amazing support and their constant smiles.
