Audrey as school girl was good at sport so I wasn’t surprised that she became envoled with football when she went to Canada.
Both Aud and Bill made everyone who came from England very welcome when we visited and looked after them with great love and care.
As a small boy when I was evacuated to Wales along with Aud, and she always looked after me and made sure that no harm came to me although I was a pest.
I will miss her greatly and she will always be in my heart. I love you very much dear sister.

To Brenda & Colin and the family of Audrey Clarke – May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. She’s with Bill now. I heard many amusing stories about Audrey thru my dear workmate Brenda over the years that I felt like I knew her personally. If I recall correctly I think she loved her “Bingo” at the care facility where she resided the last few years. Love Dorothy xox

Aud was a ‘one of a kind’ ‘no messing around’ ‘tell it like it is’
Caring, honest, loving woman who had an opinion on all subjects
and was not afraid to share it lol !!!! Aud got particularly mad if you
Went shopping over the border because she believed all
Your $ should stay here inside BC lol she could get quite heated Ha!
Myself, Carl and our children got through some tough times
Because of ‘Grandma Audrey’ and ‘Grandpa Bill’ she took us in
Like we were her own and lavished us with good food and Rum cake
Like you’ve never had before!!!!! I’m only sorry we lost touch over
The last ten years but I’ll never forget her a true diamond!!! X

One word to describe Audrey would be ‘passionate’. She was passionate about her family, her beliefs, her friends and not the least was her love/passion for soccer.
While Audrey watched any sport her passion was for soccer. She devoted many hours assisting the Vancouver Whitecaps Soccer Supporters Club during the late seventies and early eighties.
Audrey was on a first name basis with all team members and entertained many of them at her home in Delta. Where ever the team was Audrey was not far behind.
She was passionate about her friends, giving and loving. We are proud to be counted in her list of friends.
Audrey was passionate about her family. She sacrificed, gave and loved unconditionally.
Heaven will now have to learn more about what it means to support a cause, Audrey will see to it.
She will be sorely missed by those that knew her and loved her.
Fred, Faye Hodson and family, Mark, Linda, Tad and Tylar
