October 27, 1955 – July 18, 2012
It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of this remarkable and loving woman, a lady in every sense. Her’s was a life of quiet dignity, kindness, inner strength and faith; enriching the lives of all who knew her.
She leaves behind her husband (and soul mate) Stephen, son Jason, grandchildren Hunter and Eden, daughter (by law) Crystal, father of her 2 children (and first husband) Rod Adams, father Henri Gregoire, mother-in-law Simone Schneider, father-in-law Les, brothers Adrian, Denis, Marcel and Philip, sisters-in-law Betty, Nadia, Nao, Darlene, Carol, Sharon and Arlene, sister Donna, brothers-in-law Jason and Eric, cats Angel, Streak, Theo and Percy, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Darlene’s ashes will be interred in the Rose Garden (at the Maple Ridge Cemetery) on August 10, 2012 (Friday) at 2 pm, to join her sisters Bernice and Cassandra.
Everyone who knew Darlene is welcome/encouraged to attend.
Now with God, she is once more with her daughter Serena, granddaughter Kianna, great-grandmother Lucy, her adopted mothers Dot and Vivien, grandfather (Papa) John, grandmother Amanda, father-in-law Lance, mother-in-law Maggie and mother Una.
In lieu of her favorite flowers, stargazer lilies, donations may be made to the BC Children’s Hospital.
