Maria passed away peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by family in Vancouver on Tuesday July 17th. Born in the Azores, Maria was predeceased by her husband Manuel. Mom is survived by her children Maria (Dale), Joe (Sharon) and Fernando (Shauna), her grandchildren Amanda, Jeffrey, Joshua, Christine, Colleen, Ben and Lucas, and her great grandchild Abbey.
A funeral Service will be held at Corpus Christi church and Monday July 23rd at 10am. A reception will follow at Our Lady of Fatima at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
