Don will be missed by all at Flavelle. Here at Flavelle, it is not unusual for careers to last 20,30,40 or more years. In that time,your co-workers become your friends and second families. I dare say that we spend more time with our co-workers than we do with our real families.That is why I suspect people here stay for 40 plus years. You just don’t retire from your families.
That is why it’s especially hard when your friends that you spent years with have their lives cut short in their prime,are taken from you.
Sadly, Don is not the first, nor the last, I suspect to be taken from us, but it saddens us just as deep. He was truly a free spirit who will continue to inspire us. His untimely passing will cause us always to reflect on the importance of living every moment to the fullest.
For that, we say thank you. Buddy, you will always be with us in spirit.
