It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce that Owen lost his courageous fight with illness. He passed peacefully at home with Family by his side early on the 28th of May. Born in 1938 in Manchester, England a carpenter by trade, raised his family in Port Coquitlam with his loving wife of 49 years Narda. They moved to Maple Ridge in the late 90’s to be closer to family and he will be sadly missed by his 4 children Bruce (Jacqueline), Wayne (Paulette), Moira (Terry), Gary (Lydia) and 7 grand children. A fighter to the end with a never ending passion for life and living every day of it. A celebration of life for him will take place Wednesday, June 13th, 2pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 – 224th Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers donations can be to the Cardiac Clinic at Royal Columbian Hospital.
