Dear Terry, Todd and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. We have had lots of great fun with him over the years and he will certainly be missed by a great number of people. He was a steadfast fixture in the growing of Pitt Meadows. He spent many hours working in the community, Pitt Meadows Fire Department, Pitt Meadows Day and was always happy to volunteer and show off his horses with buggy and sleigh rides. He loved to show off how his horses knew what he was saying to them. They took directions so well.
Bob and I, and Pitt Meadows are lucky to have known Albert and he will always be in our memory.
All the good memories will get you over this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

We will always have fond memories of Uncle Albert. As kids, we loved to visit the big barn in Pitt Meadows to watch Uncle Albert work with his horses. He could get them to do anything with a quick call or whistle. We both had the honor of being escorted to special ceremonies by Uncle Albert and his horse team. Kelly was the envy of her schoolmates as she and her best friend arrived to Graduation in horse and buggy with Uncle Albert at the reins. Kim arrived to her wedding in style as she made her entrance in the horse pulled fringed topped buggy with Uncle Albert dressed in his tuxedo and top hat. We will always remember the respect and partnership he had with his horses.
To Todd, Terry, Marsha and kids. If there were fewer miles, less time limits and less work commitments, we would be there for you. Know that you are in our thoughts.
To Dad, Mom, Uncle Ed, Auntie Marj, Uncle Johnnie, Aunt Hilda and Auntie Margaret, we send our condolences as you say goodbye to your brother/brother-in-law. We are sending you all our love.
To all our cousins, we have lost another wonderful Kurucz Uncle. We will treasure his memory and keep it strong in our children.

My sincere condolences to the entire family.
As a young city kid who visited the farm as often as I could, I spent quite a bit of time with Albert when he was in his 20’s. While I was there, I pretty much insisted that he teach me to do everything he could do–saddle a horse, milk a cow, drive a tractor, on and on. He lovingly and willingly responded, and always did so with incredible generosity, patience and good humor.
How lucky I was to have had him as a role model. Even though I’m far removed from the farm now, things I learned from him 50+ years ago are a part of me to this day. Thank you Albert, I will never forget you.
Oh, and to his movie credits, you can add the 1994 version of “Little Women”. As the carriage driver in an early scene, he flashes a brief smile that is instantly recognizable to anyone who ever knew him.

Uncle Albert was a amazing man. I did not see him very often but when he came to the family reunions in Esterhazy everyone new he was there. I especially remember his humor and fun personality when the baseball games began.
I wish I could have known him better. He was a great uncle and lots of fun. He will be missed by all I am sure.
My condolenses to the family.
