I wasn’t close with uncle bill, but when I saw him at the latest family reunion he said “jennifer get inside and stop smoking you” and laughed as I walked in with my friend. Uncle bill and aunt Donna were the closest to me because of mama-j and my mom bubba. My mom would boast about about Shelly and all the trouble they got into as kids, and they remained closer than ever before she passed. Uncle bill was a character, one of a kind, he was a leech. I swear you can spot a leech out of no where. They are kind, but straight shooters and are a rare bread of people. I feel so blessed as to have them as my family. Rip uncle bill. Glenavon will never be the same with those 3 streets, one traffic light, one hardware store, and one hotel the whole family would stay in. Rip. Ps you were actually my fav because you and papa were so close.

“seven spanish angelscalled another angel home” That,s a line from oe of bills favorite tunes.
Iam sure that all who knew my brother Bill would agree that this angel was called home too soon!
Bill touched so many people and gave so much to those he touched, never asking for antthing in return but perhaps a “TOUCH”
Bill was my older brother “but come to think of it they were all older” He taught me if you can’t say anything nice about anyone don’t say any thing at all which was taught to him by our dad “BULL DOZER”
Bill loved to sing and he really had a powerful voice so much so that he has awakened or scared many children in the family, one day we all hoped that he would remember the words!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could go on and on but I will close by saying that I for one will miss that big wonderful GENTLEMAN but not as much as his beautiful wife Barb and their children, grandchildren, and soon to be first great grandchild.
So for now
SAY GOODBYE

Barbara… my school mate long ago and my pal Bill…It is very difficult to pass on my true feelings of the pain and sorrow you are currently going through…. Although locations have kept us from seeing you, no one can take away our memories… of which I have many of Bill and yourself….Gather strength, cherish the love from your family, grieve together and allow time to heal your loss and void in your life…His legacy left to us may differ, but will remain in a special place with me. My sincere condolence to you and your family.

Dear Barbara & Family,
So very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. He was such a pleasant person, so friendly and always had something nice to say about everyone. His presence at the Golden Ears Curling Club will be sorely missed, especially by the Seniors who very much appreciated all his good works and coffee making skills.
