Obituary of Edward James Laidlaw

Nov 9th 1943 – April 16th 2012
Survived by children Jim, Teresa, Allen, David, Amy, Josh, Brother Rick (Noreen), several grandchildren, and the loves of his life, wife Jeannie and great grandson Landyn. Predeceased by Sister Janet Larson.
Born and raised in East Vancouver. He was a cowboy, a rodeo clown, a hockey player, a stock-car driver, a beekeeper, a thoroughbred trainer, a Knights football volunteer, a longshoreman for 43 years, and above all a great husband, father, and grandpa.
Special thanks to the Home Hemodialysis teams at Tri Cities and RCH.
Celebration of life will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765 224th Street Maple Ridge, on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the BC Transplant Society or the Kidney Foundation .
