Obituary of Jeanette Marilyn Brown

In loving memory of Jeanette (Jennie) Marilyn Brown Jennie was born Jeanette Marilyn Toews in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 15, 1944. She passed away in Pitt Meadows on July 21, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 year, Chuck Brown, her daughters Angela Racette (Brent), Anita Pogue, Karen Salvador (Bill), son Gord Brown (Donna). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Paige (Matt), Lindsay (Adam), Natalie, Jackie (Mitch), Travis, Lyndon, Jassen and Emily. Jennie was also loved by 3 sisters, Char (Ken), Bev (Dan), Debbie (Paul) and 3 brothers Richard (Janet), Vic (Jan), Ron (Linda). Jennie came from a very large family and had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that she cherished dearly. Jennie will be always remembered for her kind and gentle heart, her love of all music, her laugh and her love of family and friends. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Pitt Meadows with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank all the friends and relatives that reached out to offer support and love during Jennie’s illness over the past 4 months. During Jennie’s time in Ridge Meadows Hospital, she expressed how much she appreciated the nursing staff that took such good care of her.
