To Tania and sons, my deepest and sincerest condolences and prayers for you. Tony definitely loved you guys so much and was so very proud of you, always talking about you at work at NTS and Tranzeo. he was indeed “magical.” I just heard of his passing when I talked to Kevin M. And I was so shocked. Last time I saw him about 3 yrs ago, he was fighting it and was looking chipper as ever. Take care and be blessed by the legacy of his love for you all.

My condolences to Tony’s family. I worked with Tony years past and I just found out about his passing now… I will always remember him with his good sense of humor and his favorite frase around the office: “There is love” (When things are good) / “There is not love” (when things are bad).

dear tanja, it is with a heavy heart that i write to you today.it was the shock of my life to come across tonys obituary in the ns news.tony was the most vibrant, enthusiastic, positive fun loving guy i ever met.we shared many years of martial arts training together and you could always count on tony to show up and train and fight hard, and if i know tony he fought hard all the way to the end.He left an indelible footprint in my life and i will always remember his laugh his sence of humor and his zest for life that he shared with everone around him.i was proud to call him my friend.I am so very sorry for you and your boys for his loss.He was the essence of what a good man was and i will fondly remember him for the rest of my years. The world is a poorer place.
steve barbour and family.

Although I did not really know Tony I recognize him from sports around Maple Ridge and this year our sons play hockey together. I feel sorry for him, may he rest in peace. As well, Tanja I am very sorry for your loss. However, my heart goes out to Tony’s young sons. I lost my wonderful mother two years ago and it still breaks my heart. For your children to be so young, may Tony and God shine down on them.

I met Tony in the early 1990s at Progressive Martial arts in North Vancouver, this was my transition from sport Karate to self defense. Tony trained really hard and was a really great martial artist, he eventually became a student instructor and was very well respected for his terrific martial arts skill and physical ablilities. He kept us on our toes and was tough as nails but a good guy as well. Tony left me good memories of training, he helped me with weight training in the gym and I am very fortunate to have known him. Taken from us way too early! he will be in my prayers
Cheers
Dave

I was fortunate to have met Tony when we both sold Mutual Funds out of the same office space in Burnaby in the late 90’s. Tony always had a smile on his face and to every question his response was “Magical”…(even when I could tell it was a less than stellar moment). He was so proud when his son Emerson was born and brought the new baby to the office to meet everyone. While we didn’t know each other a long time he did definitely leave a positive mark in my life. I am so sorry to read that a shining light has gone out. My condolences are extended to all of Tony’s family and friends at this time…
Kathleen
