It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edward Alfred Pearce on December 22, 2010. Born July 7, 1940 to Dorothy and Archie Pearce and brother to David Pearce and Audrey Bell. Ed was the proud great grandparent of Elizabeth, grandson Justin, son Patrick and daughter-in-law MaryEllen. Ed was predeceased by his wife of nearly 50 years, Karen Pearce in February, 2007.
Ed had a long and varied life and career across Canada with jobs in the Navy, Federal Government, and the BC Provincial Government. His many friends in Vancouver, Ottawa, Yellowknife, Halifax, and everywhere in between will miss him dearly. A memorial of Ed’s life will be held on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at 2:00pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel – 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s name to your local SPCA would be appreciated
