Leslie was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England. He came to Canada in 1952 and worked at Eatons for 29 years. He passed away peacefully, at 82 years of age, in Langley Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Nellie, sister Joan, Children; Steven and Christy, Carolyn and Richard, Perry and Jennie, Sylvia and Clay, Jayne and John, Erin. Grandchilren; Tonia and George, Jason and Leslie, Michael, Christina, James, Bryan, Steven, Bradley and Tamara, Sarah, Jeffrey, Johnathan, Ashley, Laura, Abby, Sophie, Katie, Brody, James and Great Grandchildren; Natasha, Isobel, Bella and Scott
A Memorial Service for Leslie will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 3:30pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 – 224th St, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC.
