May you rest in heaven were the Angels fro may you rest in peace where the poppies blow threw my memories row by row when I think of art. Time gets slow may he be in my heart when my strength is low may he be in the wind when my legs won’t go may he be the river when I no longer float he was the man who patched my boat kept me afloat and may he rest in places with gorgeous spaces he will wander forever faceless but as he lies. His spirit never dies may we see his spirit rise above the Lonley cries may he forever be within my soul true heart of gold could not be sold should have gotten old. Between those tides of time should not be cold was spoken like a chime but in times end may he have found a friend and gathered up his mind a freind of mine. In eendless time natures crimes divine

Well it is never to late to wish my condolences to Art’s family. I new Art for many years and his infectious smile I will always miss. I first met Art in grade 8 and then lost touch until we met in grade 9 where we began dating. I was Art’s first girlfriend and I have never forgotten my firt love. I would sometimes search for Art only to find he had passed and my heart weighed heavly . The lord took you too soon and I hope that you have the peace and the love that you so deserve. I will never forget you and will love you always as that tender boy of 15.

To Art’s Family and Toby
We were so shocked and saddened to learn by chance of Art’s death. Our lives touched very briefly in 2006 when we were fortunate enough to have him build our beautiful stair railing in West Vancouver. He spent many hours in our home both before and after we moved in. He was always pleasant to have around – I remember his smile well and it was clear he was as wonderful a human being as he was a craftsman.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences – we wish you all the strength you will need to overcome his tragic and untimely death.

We may never understand why such a wonderful, loving, determined, caring man would be taken so young. But all who knew him can live grateful for having known Art. I always have (and always will) love him as a brother. I will hold him close in my memories, until we meet again.
Danielle & Josh, Denise, and all Art’s family….you are in my heart and prayers.

Art did the woodwork at Epic Homes. On a profesional level Art was skilled, took pride in his work, and always great to deal with.Such and honest person. The small time i spent with him outside the job just a great guy, incredibly likeable, always smiling, too damn young.
Our hearts goes out to family and friends.

I always enjoyed talking to Art when he came in to buy his lumber. He was a woodworker who loved his craft. His legacy will live on in the projects he completed and in the family he loved.
