Oh Bruce, my special honourary grandpa. Even though I haven’t seen you for a few years, you know that you have always had a very special place in my heart. Your smile, your hugs, and your laugh always brought smiles to my face. You showed cancer who was boss time and time again, and I often thought of your courage and strength as we watched our little girl in her own fight. They say God only takes the good ones and you are one more piece of proof that it’s true. I am sad to know that I won’t hear your voice or run into you at an open house or see you again. My prayers are with Liz and everyone who loves you.
God bless and love always, Jessika.

Liz and family, we were so sorry to learn of Bruce’s passing. Bruce was an important part of our lives. He was introduced to us by Christine Skaley a number of years ago as an agent and from then on Bruce became a good friend to us. He always had a great smile and sharp wit that were great to have shared. We made a number of improvements to our present home and always had Bruce’s opinion in mind when we did, (we are sure he would approve). We think the the thing we will miss most is Bruce’s creative ways to say he was in need for another Watkin’s Black Pepper, large. He was pretty funny. We are so glad that we got to share in his life. We are here for you Liz, if you ever wish to come by. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and with Bruce.

Today is a celebration of Bruce’s life. We were so honoured to have him in our lives. We had many laughs together but the one that sticks out the most is the time we went to the North Shore Ralley. We were all staying at the Hyatt. Bruce and you came down the elevator and met us on the second floor landing. Bruce had changed his name that day. His name was now Liz.He had your name tag on,and not only that, “his fly was down”. That name “zipper” stuck with him for quite a few years. We will miss his contagious sense of humour. God speed Bruce. We will miss you. Love you lots Liz.

Bruce was a dynamic and giving person with an awesome personality.
Right from meeting him the first time in 1994 at a Real Estate training course, his magnetic personality attracted me to speak to him, only to learn that he was a former Winnipegger and lover of Oscar’s Corned Beef sandwiches.
After having coffee with Bruce a few years ago when I was in Vancouver on business, he told me of his love for the sandwich and I promised that one day, I would surprise him by bringing one. My biggest regret is that I never did have the chance as I have yet to return.
Over the years, Bruce and I kept in touch and he was always willing to share business suggestions, some of which I still use to this day.
My deepest condolences to Liz and family. I consider it a gift to have known Bruce and he will be greatly missed!

On my Mother’s 65th Birthday, Bruce and I had the task of providing Autumn leaves for the party’s decoration.
The warmth from this wonderful human being and the Love shown to me was a true definition of Character.
I will always remember our walk in Bowen Park that day,
and I will always see him with his glasses on top of his head, with that incredable smile that always lit up what ever room he happen to be in.
You have made such an impression on me Bruce, to be better than I was this morning. Inspiration, it seems,
comes to us through individuals that can see a lot more than perhaps we can at the moment, and they know how to say or act just the right thing as an example, rather than just to be right.
Liz said that you passed with a smile on your face,…….. I’m not suprized.
Much Peace Cousin, Much Love to Liz,
and all of the Family and friends, of this Dear,Dear one.
whose passing has changed my life as I’m sure yours.
……… Love to All,
Michael J.W.Foster.
