thank you to everyone for those kind words. Anyone who knew my mama knew we were best friends. Not a day goes by without shedding a tear for her. I know she is at peace in heaven…just sucks for the rest of us. Your grandchildren will never forget you as I speak of you each and every day Nick

Arlene always striked us as an up beat and energetic person. Whever she went, it was full of action and purpose. Arlene took a strong approach to whatever she planned to do and would never give up easily.
It was most unfortunate she left us so soon, but she has led a most fulfilling life which brought a lot of joy and happiness to her family and friends.
We will always rememer her smiling face and she would never be forgotten…..
With loving memories,
Garry and Peggy

Nicole:
My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family. I liked your mother very much and always enjoyed her company. When we were curling everyone would know that you had arrived with “her” grandchildren because her face would just light up. I think she thought of them as her finest hour. We will all miss her and her kind, gentle nature. I think your family tribute to your mom was lovely.
Sincerely,
Muriel Warick

To Dave and Family
As one of the Jackson 4, I will miss Arlene. She was a competant skip and I counted on her as her third to clean up my shots. Her strength in curling battle and in facing her own end, was very admirable.
I remember her also from high school as a good person.
My condolences to you,
Barb

To the Jackson Family,
May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is “near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon “swallow up death forever…and wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25;8) Take care,

I worked with Arlene in the late 1960’s at Black Gavin & Co. I’m thinking of her this morning, especially remembering her gentle demeanour & recalling too how excited she was with plans for her marriage to Dave. I sense from the words in her obituary that her life was full & well lived. I’m remembering her with much fondness as someone who it was indeed a pleasure to have known in my life.
