Papa was my great grandfather and has a will always have a huge influence on my life. Since his passing, he has inspired me to love every day, every person I encounter and most of all, to continue on with my love and passion with music. Thank you Papa for making me fearless towards my soon to be amazing future. I love you more each day and miss you so much. I love you a Bushel and a Peck <3

I for one will greatly miss “Papa”. He always had so many enjoyable stories to relate to me about what life was like in Toronto. Being from Toronto, I would enjoy reminiscing with Papa as I knew most of the places to which he referred.
Each time I visited, Lisette would always preface our talks with “Do you remember my friend Annette?” Papa would immediately respond with, “I grew up on Annette Street. You spell it A, N, N, E, T, T, E.”
If I was mispelling my name before, I am certainly spelling it correctly now.
I will always smile and remember him with fondness.
Thank you Ron and Lisette for sharing your family with me.

I am sorry to hear of Uncle Oz’s passing. I remember the wonderful time spent with him when he visited Vernon and the family. His infectious laughter and the great stories he told will remain in our hearts forever. He was one of a kind. He made a lasting impression on everyone.
My condolences to all of the family.

Although he had a long and fruitfull period on earth, he will be missed.
My brief encounters with him were always very pleasant and cordial. He seemed to have a way of looking at the bright side of each and every moment, taking the high road whenever an un-comfortable moment presented itself, a rare quality to have these days… I found it refreshing. He posed for a picture wearing a Bob Marley wig, on his birthday…and the very first time I was inbtroduced to him. I still chuckle everytime I think of that moment.
He was one of the good guys.
