To the Woodthorpe family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes we still feel the loss of our loved ones and view death as God does, an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) May you find comfort and strength in his promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, and we can see our loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.

We just found out today about Amanada’s tragic & accidental passing. She has done our hair periodically & was a softspoken, beautiful young woman. She spoke lovingly of her family – in her gentle manner she would share about the family dog & her relationship with her sisters, whom she enjoyed being with. Our deepest sympathy & prayers go out to you, her family, in your grief.

We all go through life with the love of friends and family
Even though we know they will all leave us eventually
Never knowing where the future might lead you
No worries though, theres a future for them too
Because even if there not in front of you they will always be in your heart
Nobody or nothing could tear a love like that apart
With that being said my friend you will always be with me
And when my time has come I will meet you there you will see
I know you are looking down on me now and then
Up in a place we like to call heaven
Make sure there is room for me when I get there
Just so that I know that you still care
I don’t know how long it will be before it is my time
So I’m letting you know with this little rhyme
That I will always be here no matter where you are
You wont even have to reach out to me because I will never be that far
Don’t ever fear because my love will forever send
And I will be by your side when my life comes to an end.
Condolences for the Woodthorpe family, friends and anyone who’s life was touched by Amanda. You will be missed but never forgotten angel.

I remember the times we spent together
on those drives
We had a million questions
all about our lives
and when we got to New York
everything felt right
I wish you were here with me
tonight
I remember the days we spent together
were not enough
and it used to feel like dreamin’
except we always woke up
Never thought not having you
here now would hurt so much
Tonight I’ve fallen and I can’t get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin’ you, holdin’ you, holdin’ you tonight
I remember the time you told me about when you were eight
And all those things you said that night that just couldn’t wait
I remember the car you were last seen in
and the games we would play
All the times we spilled our coffees
and stayed out way too late
I remember the time you SAT AND told me about your Jesus
and how not to look back even if no one believes us
When it hurt so bad sometimes
not having you here…
I sing,
“Tonight I’ve fallen and I can’t get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin’ you, holdin’ you, holdin’ you tonight”
I sing,
“Tonight I’ve fallen and I can’t get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin’ you, holdin’ you, holdin’ you tonight”

Darling Amanda, I did not know you but my son did. All I can think is that as a parent, your loss is more than I could bear. You are so beautiful in this life and in the next. Your existence has made me believe in Angels. Watch over those who love you so dearly. They need to feel your presence in their lives. Sweet Angel, I pray for your peace and happiness.I know God has a higher calling for you. You have touched our lives to let us know how precious these few moments on earth are. I feel it. We all feel it. Thank you precious Angel for the blessings you bring to each of our tomorrows.

To the family and friends of Amanda,
I have seen all the comments on her Group page and know Brooke. I am so sorry for all that it has done to your family and the grieving I imagine will take years to recover from. Please try and console yourselves with the fact that she left you with so many memories and she will truley never be gone. She will be there in your times of need if you ask it of her I belive that with all my heart (I know my dad still comes when asked).
She seemed like she was well loved and that is what this life is about having a connection being happy and loved and it seems like all of you gave her that in life, some never find it. For that you gave her the best life we could ever ask for.
As many have said in messages on articles PLEASE lets hope all have learned from the mistakes made on that tragic night so more don’t have to go through this heart break, don’t let her death go to waste and be forgotten. She I believe will be a voice that could be heard for years and years if used to help others
Marie and family

Our dear Amanda filled our lives with many happy memories and there are no words to express the grief that we are feeling and the sympathy we have for the Woodthorpe family. Amanda was so great with children and she will be missed especially by my grandchild Taylor and my niece Hanna who experienced the fun times of Gingerbread house making, tea parties, colouring and the abundance of patience that Amanda had with children. The happy memories will remain with us always.
Our love and prayers are with the family and the many friends that Amanda touched.

Dale, Barbara, Jennifer and Cassandra,
I am a very good friend of Dean and Cynde’s and had heard of Amanada’s passing through them. I had had Amanda do my hair a few times while she was in hair dressing school. She was a lovely young lady. I am so very, very, sorry to hear of her tragic accident that took her at such a young age.
Hold on to all those wonderful memories of all the good times you shared with her for the past 19 years.
With Sympathy,
Deb Burgess and family.
