To all of you, we send our sympathy and love with fond memories of your Dad!
Everytime we would see him, he would ask ‘how are you doing’ with that huge smile (literally from one side to the other kind) He always asked about my folks from ‘back home’. Loved his many stories from when I visited the girls in North Vancouver and how Murray and Joyce both came to my rescue when I had a vehicle accident in Surrey. They came immediately and took me out for breakfast and ‘gave’ me permission to miss school that day. It meant so much that they truly cared how I was. That is many years ago, but always loved to see him and get a smile, loved him.

My great sympathy to Lois and family. It was my great pleasure to be Murray’s family doctor for many years until my retirement 3 years ago, and it was an honour to help him. He was the true definition of “gentle-man”, and I enjoyed my time as his health advisor. I feel I am a better person for knowing him.

Our heartfelt sympathy to you, Lois, and to Randy, Rick, Tim and Denise and your families. What better gift for Murray than to arrive HOME on his birthday! When we all gather there with him, with the Lord in the midst, what a gathering that will be.
We are richer for having known him and to have enjoyed your hospitality many times. We cherish his memory in so many ways, and trust the Lord will give comfort in your sorrow.

Being reminded of our mortality, but also that a brighter hope beckons to be with the Lord in Heaven for Eternity. Lois, Randy, Rick, Tim and Denise, the day is not far away when that great reunion will take place. You are in my thoughts. Murray’s mom was a regular in our home back in Manitoba along with his sister, Mary Tilley. Murray inherited his approach to life from his mother, “Aunt Madelaine”.
Mom (Yvonne Copp) would be most sympathetic if she were not overtaken with Alzeihmer’s so please accept further heartfelt condolences on her behalf.

We were very sad to hear of Mr. Murray’s passing. We were very firtunate to have him as our neighbour. I will never forget seeing him so busy in his garage, fixing up antique cars. It was fascinating to have a neighbour with such a passion! There will never be any one like him. He was the true sample of a passionate mechanic, someone who spent his hours productively doing what he loved, so admirable!! Thank you so much for Sharing wonderful moments, for showing the kids your photos, your tools, your home. We have very fond and nice memories of your smile, your nice suits when you went to church, your hard working and your faith. May you rest in peace and may God give Lois the strength to continue this journey with the company of your spirit. Our deepest condolences from Madrid, Spain: Robert, Alexandra, Anna-Sophia and Sebastiaan Heijse and from your next door neighbours: Rodrigo, Lydia and Lissa Artunduaga

Dear Lois, and my Dear Logue Family, I was shocked to hear of the soon passing of Murray last week, although we knew it was imminent. It has brought back so clearly the “good old days” when your Mom and Dad, and Allan and I were in Winnipeg, and special friends. Grandma Mabel Macfarlane used to say, “One by one they go”, and being the only one left of the four has brought it painfully home. My love to each of you, and especially to Lois, who will miss him most, I know. “O the joy, the wond’rous singing when we see Thee as Thou art; Thy blest Name, Lord Jesus, bringing sweetest music to God’s heart. Notes of gladness, songs increasing, Hymns of everlasting praise, Psalms of glory, joy increasing through God’s endless day of days.”

Sincere sympathy to Lois and all the family of Murray. Our fondest memory of him is from the time we moved to Wisconsin from Vancouver BC. Ethna was down with flu and Murray volunteered to drive the U-Haul truck with our belongings through the snow covered mountain passes, as far as Billings Montana, while I drove our family vehicle. Our children were very young, and Murray entertained us all by singing hymns and choruses over the CB radio. From Billings he took the Greyhound back to Vancouver. We shall meet again – in the sweet bye and bye – then our singing will never end.

We will simply miss, just having you on the other side of the wall.

Dear Lois and family,
Our sincere sympathies on the passing of dear Murray. A multitude of memories flood our minds as we recall a man of great kindness. His tireless labours for the assembly and those that he knew and loved have been recorded on high. It was a privilege to be with him in the assembly in North Vancouver; his words of encouragement and counsel kept a young man steady. He drove us in his navy Daimler on our wedding day with his cap and all!
We salute his memory.

Dear Murray Logue will be missed for more than just his seat being empty but because he gave so much when ever he came into contact with others. I apprieciated his company and his encouragement. Once at a conferance in Squamish, BC he spoke about the seven golden candlesticks in the book of the Revelation chapter one. And he spoke about investing. He said if you want to go for something that will have ETERNAL dividends go in for the gold. The gold which is of God in the seven golden candlesticks. Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it and we should do none the less. Go for the gold of building up the assembly and you will not be disappointed.
I can still hear him sing #331 in the BHB…. With steady pace the pilgrim moves, Toward the blissful shore, And sings with cheerful heart and voice, “‘Tis better on before.”
He has entered into his rest, condolences to his dear wide Lois and the family.

We are sorry that Murray is not with us anymore. We didn’t see him often but when we did either at the North Van Hall or some other meeting he always impressed us with a contented, happy smile that characterizes someone enjoying God’s goodness to him. Someone who really shows the joy of knowing the Lord is an example to us all. He is missed. May you know the God of all comfort.

Our sincere condolences to the family. We got to know Murray only since 14 years ago when we moved to Canada (although my parents knew him a lot longer). We appreciated his warmth and friendliness. We also remember him as “the man of the antique cars”.
He drove our niece Rosdily and her husband Brian after their wedding, in one of his Rolls Royces. Very kind of him!
