Crossley Lowes September 7th, 1924 – March 9th, 2018 It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our loving father, who also had the privilege of being a grandfather and great grandfather. A total caring gentleman who will be truly missed. Preceded by Maureen, his beloved wife of almost 50 years, who passed away in February 1997. After a distinguished service in the RAF as a Bomber Pilot in Second World War, serving in North Africa, Italy, the UK, culminating with the repatriation of troops from Europe and the Far East to the UK and South Africa. In 1947, he left the service and commenced his own grocery business in the North East of England. Emigrating to Canada in 1981. Again, commencing his own business in the Confectionary trade. Finally retiring in 1996, to enjoy many years of retirement travelling to many parts of the world. Dad was also an active Mason for over 70 years of dedication, 36 years with the Prince David Lodge in Maple Ridge and prior in his English Northumberland Lodge for 34 years. Survived by his three Children, Gillian (Brian), Phillip (Joan) and Beverley (Tim). Grandchildren: Neil (Jana), Andrew Crossley (Karen), Richard (Amy), Kari (Ian), Grant (Lyndsay) and Emily. Great-Grandchildren: Caleb Crossley, Rebekah, Abigail, Delaney, Jennaya, Mikayla, Mason, Mya Maureen, Emerson Crossley, Hugo and Amber. The above is a true reflection of what he brought to the world and will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace and Love from All Dad…
