It is with deep regret we announce the passing of William Joseph Rycroft. Known to many as Bill, a true Haney boy and a Maple Ridge legend. He was a master of Zen with a heart bigger than the man himself. He will be greatly missed. Haney #3.

He is survived by his mother Laura Welton, son Joey Rycroft, daughter Holly Rycroft (her Fiance Ryan Ritchie), granddaughter Alexis Ritchie, Bill’s sister Deborah McCaughran (Bob), Bill’s ex-wife Tracie Wells (John).

Funeral Prayers will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 21st, with Funeral Mass to follow at 1pm also at St. Luke’s.

There will be a celebration of life on March 10th at the Maple Ridge Equestrian Center, time TBD.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the BC SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
