Obituary of Robert Paul Gorcak

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Paul Gorcak born on May 7 1961. He passed away peacefully on November 23, 2017 at McKenney Creek Hospice in Maple Ridge BC. He is survived by His daughter Randi Dawn and sons Robert and Trevor. Sisters Debbie Gorcak, Bonnie Henderson (Don) and Wendy Maloy (Bill). A brother from a different mother Walter Hornstein (Coreena). He was so loved by nieces, nephews and cousins. He was blessed by many friends he called family. Predeceased by his wife Doris whom we all called TI. His father Henry and mother Mary. Brother Michael (Cindy) Sister Linda and nephew Roddy. Robbie loved music and would play his guitar and sing many a song. Everyone who knew him would have a memory of a favorite song Robbie would sing for them. He will be laid to rest by his wife TI in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii, BC, on Friday December 1, 2017. The family will announce a celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude for the care and support Robbie received at McKenney Creek Hospice. Our hearts put at peace while he is in the care at Garden Hill Funeral Home, Maple Ridge, BC. After all the rain… the clouds cleared and the sky opened up to receive him.
