Long Time Resident of Maple Ridge William Ralph Jupp age 75, passed away Oct 15th, 2017 after his long struggle with cancer at Ridge Meadows Hospital. He was born April 11, 1942 in Liverpool England to William and Bertha (Potts) Jupp. At age 4 his mother and him immigrated to Canada. William grew up in Beaverdell, BC and Vancouver, BC, where he attended John Oliver High School. On Dec 15, 1973 he married Zaniffa Tara. Together they had one daughter Sarah. William worked for the BC Ambulance Service for a number of years, before taking on the role of health and safety officer at Burnaby General Hospital, and then in Victoria for the Juan de Fuca health Authority. William loved fishing, reading and history. He is preceded by his parents and younger brother Phillip. He is Survived by his wife of 44 years Tara, Daughters: Sarah (Orlando), Lorraine (Craig), Son: Michael, Nephew: David (Leah), Niece: Jenny, Cousins: Samara, Eroca (Mike), and Robert (Kim), Grandchildren: Curtis, Kayla, and Aurora, Great Grandchildren: Adrianna and Cruz. In lieu of flowers we graciously ask that you please make a donation to Diabetes Canada or to St. John The Divine Anglican Church, Maple Ridge. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 11am at St. John The Divine Anglican Church, 21299 River Rd, Maple Ridge.
