I held your hand when you were trying to run away,
I held you tight when you thought I wasn’t paying attention or taking flight.
You where talking and “trust me” I was listening.
You wanted to get away from a situation, but I helped you threw the frustration.
Baby I was always there for you, and when I told people of you, this is true.
If you thought you weren’t worthy, baby you were like a roller coast ride, straight and curvy.
