I wish to express my sympathy to the family and especially to Clare . Clare, you were so good to Mary- taking her to hospital etc. I am sure Mary appreciated it. I will remember Mary and you Clare in my prayers. Mary was a good person and many were influenced
by her. I enjoyed working with her in the church.

I’m so sorry to hear of Ms. Dobie passing. She made my transition to St. Patrick’s school easy for me as I was a non-catholic student. What an understanding, compassionate and sweet lady. Rest In Peace. Mia.

I will always remember Mary as my loving, encouraging and very patient grade 2 teacher. I have fond memories of being in her class and the kind words she always had for me.
Rest In Peace, Miss Dobie. ❣️

On behalf of my mother, L. Ruth Kelly, we wish to extend our sympathy for your loss of dear Mary. She was a caring and compassionate friend to my mom and demonstrated kindness even as her own days were growing dim. The pleasure was mine to enjoy watching Mary and mom have a hearty laugh!
To her sister Clare with sincere condolence

Dear Clare,
I want to express my sympathy to you at this time. Mary was such a wonderful person – very understanding, very dependable and very involved. I’m not sure where she got her energy!
I ‘m in Ontario now, but taught at St. Patrick’s from 1978 – 1985 and had the privilege of working with Mary at that time. I met you at that time as well. The last time I visited Mary was when she was still in her apartment – still a very warm and welcoming person.
I shall keep you and your family in my prayers tomorrow as you celebrate Mary’s earthly life and the new life in which she now shares. May you experience peace and may your shared memories be a source of her continued presence in your heart.
God bless you!
Sincerely,
Sharon McNally

Mary was a huge influence on me when I was a young teacher. She was loads of fun, and a great mentor. I’ll never forget the “murder mysteries” at her condo., her stories, and her sense of humour about the children she taught.
Rest in peace, Mary, you dear woman.
