Obituary of Gordon Alexander Murdock

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon Alexander Murdock on August 24, 2019 at the age of 85.  Gordon was born in Ericsson Manitoba on December 19, 1933.  At an early age he moved with his family to the Maple Ridge area where he lived for the remainder of his life.  Gordon began his career working in a Green House then went on to work at Hammond Mill and finally at the Mill in Pitt Meadows.  He retained his love of gardening, along with his enjoyment of the outdoors, especially walking with his faithful dog, Honey. He enjoyed reading, particularly Zane Grey Western novels.  Gordon is pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Frieda and his brother Nelson.  He is survived by his brother Keith (Evelyn), Sister-in-law Margaret, niece Charlotte, and great-nephew Eric.  Special thanks to the staff at Baillie House and to the staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held privately by his family at a later date.
