INGE HEDWIG BERTA MONK
December 27, 1934 - September 7, 2019
Inge Monk passed away peacefully at the age of 84 at McKenney Creek Hospice in
Maple Ridge BC, Inge had bravely battled & beat cancer in 2010, to sadly succumb to this horrible disease this year on September 7, 2019.
Predeceased by husband John F. Monk.
Survived by her 5 children Marion Brown, Robert Monk & Wife Jennifer, Barbara Monk & Derek Popovich, Gary Monk, Johnny Monk & wife Jennifer Monk, 6 grandchildren Tina Bascelli & husband Tony Bascelli , Stacy Venegas & husband Marcelo Venegas, Rachelle Noel Brown & Josh Schneider, Katie Monk, Piper Monk and Sawyer Monk and 4 great-grandchildren Cristina Bascelli, Noah Bascelli, Cristian Venegas and Daniela Venegas, family overseas in Germany along with close family friends Eberhard Gundtlach, June Waddington, Guy & Alison Noel.
Inge was born in Germany, lived in England for a short time then immigrated to Ottawa Ontario Canada in 1957, moving to Coquitlam BC in 1998.
Inge was a loving, kind, friendly person who loved to go dancing, shopping and spending quality time with family & friends...she lived life to the fullest & could tear up the dance floor leaving spectators in awe.
We as a family welcome those who can attend our Mothers Celebration of Life this Saturday September 21st 2019 at 5:30 pm being held at The New Apostolic Church 813 Sharpe Street in Coquitlam BC, V3C3M4
We would like to thank the Garden Hill Funeral Home for the respect and dignity shown to our Mother & to the staff at McKenney Creek Hospice for the care and comfort they provided for her
