Hello Elvidge Family.
I just read Ann's obituary - such a loss. Ann sat beside me in the alto section of the Choral Connections Community choir. We shared many wonderful Tuesday nights and fun concerts together. I will miss her gentle humour. I have passed on the information to other members of our choir who knew Ann. Our sympathies to all of you

Hi Tod, Just read today about Ann. So sorry that she's no longer physically with us but I know you and your family and friends will have many warm and wonderful memories of her which will never die. She always seemed like such a sweet, fun-loving person the few times I met her at CBC events. I'm sure you miss her terribly. Regards, Joan.

When I think of Ann, I remember her stories of family and adventures that filled her with happiness, her giggle, and her smile. She always had such great stories. Her grandchildren filled her heart with such joy, it was plain to see how much she adored them. Her absence leaves a huge hole in our hearts! She was a true friend and each of us will have memories to treasure always! Sincere and deep sympathies to her family and friends.

I met Ann when we were both working at the hospital, about 15 years ago. I loved her immediately; she had such a magnetic personality, and told stories like nobody else. She laughed so easily, but cried just as easily. We always had so much fun together, and am missing her already. Sending much love to Tod, Katie, and Amy xx.

Such sad news about Ann and my thoughts are with you, Tod, Amy & Katie.. Lots of great memories & chats with Ann while my daughter Krista "played" with Amy & Katie. Krista enjoyed her annual Gabriola vacations with you, especially the fishing!

I was so sorry to read this, sending condolences to Tod and all your beautiful family. I have such fond remembrances of Ann, she was curious, and courteous, and warm, and good humoured. I remember that she loved music -- for some reason, it sticks in my head that she was a huge Blue Rodeo fan -- and I remember how proud she was Tod and the girls -- of her grandchildren, too, no doubt! She was fun. A terrible loss for you all, I'm so very sorry. Bill Richardson

Ann was my dear friend for 45 years. We met in Vancouver as new arrivals from England. We shared an apartment in North Vancouver and had a mutual love of eating out or baking and eating scones, jam and cream late at night.
Our friendship continued after we both got married and had children and spent many New Years Eve family celebrations at one or other’s home.
We were famous for our three or four hour coffee house get togethers or at brunches for our birthdays.
I shall miss Ann terribly, and offer my sincere condolences to Tod, Katie and Amy

Dear Tod, Katie, Amy and your families,
We were so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. We'll miss seeing her walking down Berry Point Road with her dog and, often, several grandchildren in tow. I'll miss sitting on the bench at "the point", chatting with Ann about the wonder of grandchildren, the state of the world, your family's adventures, the beauty of the island, and so on. She was easy to be with, and was so proud of her family. Chris also has fond memories of working with Ann at CBC Vancouver.
Sending you warm thoughts and wishing comfort for you in all the happy memories you made together.
With fondness,
Margy Gilmour and Chris Straw on Gabriola

I met Ann (and Tod) when we moved to Coquitlam in February 1986. She was just starting her life as a mother and what a dedicated, loving mother she was. Her family always came first and it shows in the love they gave back to her. I will miss playing cards with her and the funny way she referred to the club cards as Bubbles. She so loved her grandchildren and would show pictures of them whenever she had the chance. I am glad I got to say "good-bye" to her even though it was one of the hardest days I have had. She is at peace now and will always be in my thoughts. Love to Tod, Amy and Katie. Stay strong and think of all the wonderful times the family had together.

Dear Tod, Amy and Katie...So many wonderful gourmet dinners...So much delicious food...So many glasses of wine. Ann was a lovely person , always enjoyed her company. I particularly remember her showing me her mother of the Bride outfit (hat and all) when I did some alterations for one of the daughter's weddings. My heart goes out to all of you.

Many wonderful memories of Annie from more than 50 years ago. This picture was taken by her friend Cheryl and shows my brother, Barry and I with Ann in the back garden of our house in the Summer of '66. She was a lovely girl and a good friend with a mischievous sense of humour. Her friends from her years back here in Leigh-on-Sea will miss her. My sympathies to her family.
Love and best wishes for the next stage of the journey....

We were fortunate enough to be Neighbours of the Elvidges for 13 years and we were able to see first hand her kindness and warm spirit.
I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Ann and catching up on the news of her Family. She always had a some exciting news to share. We also shared the love of Gabriola Island and shared a few special visits over there.
The loss of Ann will be felt by many as she touched so many lives in the friendships she made. Our Heartfelt condolences go out to Tod, Katie, Amy and families.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Ann and I enjoyed each other's company anytime we met up at a party or in the hallowed halls of CBC. Always a good conversation no matter how brief the encounter. I loved and admired her hard-working attitude, watching out for the welfare and health of her two daughters and Todd. She gave with gusto so much solid advice and guidance to family and friends. When the grandchildren arrived, I felt that they were so lucky to have her as a Granny. I cherish the time I spent with her at Island Musicfest in Courtenay in 2017 where this photo was taken backstage. Deepest sympathies to Todd and family.

Ann was always "there" for the actors and musicians and writers who "were" the backbone of the award-winning Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show on C.B.C. Radio in the 1970's. She soothed our egos and laughed at our foibles. She was so much more than a right-hand person to us and master radio producer Don Kowalchuk - I doubt Don could have found a more pleasant, admirable, kind and hard working, beauteous associate.
